A 3-part series of 90min virtual study groups devoted to discussing George Orwell's classic novel 1984. Meet our political moment with conversations about a book that seems less fictional every day. All ages are welcome. All education levels are welcome, from 9th graders to folks that never finished high school to graduate students or professors in any discipline to self-taught punks to aspiring dystopian novelists. Let's build some community around an action-packed story that provides a lot of modern food for thought. And to all of you who ever said to me, "wow, I wish I could have had you for my English teacher in high school," now is your chance.
